 Introduction of Service: For the first time in Jordan, Jormall is proud to introduce this technology that has been created and built by Messrs TE Technical Services. The technology will operate on Zain and Umniah networks, and will be followed by Orange network in the very near future. Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) USSD is a GSM service that allows high speed interactive communication between the subscribers and applications across a GSM network. The exchange of information takes place on easy to generate applications. All interaction of USSD applications happen in real time and are not subject to any delays. USSD Interactive Applications are applications designed to exchange information. They are built for specific purposes and hosted on the mobile providers servers. In this case mobile users can access these applications by dialing a special toll free number that is dedicated to each individual application. The format of the special number will be *424*xxx#.
